Welcome to EntheogenWiki. An entheogen is a psychoactive substance traditionally used in religious or shamanic context. The word is often used to emphasize the spiritual use of such substances, in contrast to their abuse as 'drugs' in Western civilizations. Entheogens are phenomenal tools when used responsibly and with adequate preparation. This wiki's aim is to be a central resource for entheogen related matters and for the psychonaut community.

The wiki hopes to utilize the power of the MediaWiki system to achieve these specific goals:

• Summarize the vast resources already available on the internet by subject
• Remain up to date with the latest information, discoveries, etc.
• Be well referenced, with statements backed up by supporting citations.

This wiki is in it's infancy, and it's success is dependent on user contributions. You do not need to sign up to edit pages and contribute, although registering is suggested as it entitles you to use some of the advanced features of the wiki. The wiki is backed up daily to an off-site server, so rest assured your contributions are well protected.
